Weekend Adventures

It was an April morning when they told us we should go
As I turned to you, you smiled at me
How could we say no?
With all the fun to have, to live the dreams we always had
Oh, the songs to sing, when we at last return again
Sorry it’s been so long since my last post.  I actually meant to put theses up about 5 days ago, but my computer wasn’t cooperating.  In its defense, there is no wifi at the farmhouse, so I’ve been using a hotspot.  Apparently the hotspot dislikes photos.  Damn technology.
Anyways, these are photos of my adventures last weekend.  I visited the Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden, as well as Gray’s Lake (Des Moines’ version of Lake Harriet). I also visited a nearby winery, but I’ll do a separate post on that.  Forgive the picture quality: I used my phone, and the sun prevented me from actually seeing how the photos turned out.
Update:  I’ve tried captions about three times, and each time the post crashed.  So “F” that noise.  If you’re curious about a photo, leave a comment.  Otherwise, enjoy the silence.
